2023 Caddo Common Project Grant for Organizations
Ends on
The Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC) with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, Louisiana Division of the Arts, City of Shreveport, and Parish of Caddo will empower Northwest Louisiana Artists and Arts Organizations to create, produce, and/or present projects in Caddo Common Park. The activity may take place anywhere in the Park: Performance Pavilion, Great Lawn, Food Court with the Art Trees, and/or Sidewalks. The activity is limited to the boundaries of the Park.
Caddo Common Park Project Grants will engage local participation, create unity among diverse people, advance equity, shed light on the people, places, events, and/or history that comprise the authenticity of Shreveport Common; are accessible to all people, and include an “UNcommon” – Unexpected - UNtraditional, or UNcanny (pick an “UN” word!) element that raises the project, performance/production to an UNforgettable experience.
Funding requests range from a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $2,500 based upon the length, scope and impact of proposed programming provided in Caddo Common Park.
